Founder & Newborn Care SpecialistHello, I'm Vinnette — founder of A Peace of Mind Baby. For more than two decades, I have dedicated my career to caring for babies and supporting growing families during one of the most important seasons of their lives. What began as my very first childcare position in November 2002 has grown into a lifelong calling built on compassion, education, and a genuine love for newborns.
My Journey into Baby Care
My journey started with a simple desire to care for children. As I gained experience with newborns, I quickly realized that caring for babies also meant supporting exhausted parents navigating sleepless nights, feeding challenges, and the many questions that come with welcoming a new baby.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of families — caring for singletons, twins, premature babies, and newborns with unique feeding and sleep needs. Every family has taught me something valuable, and every baby has strengthened my passion for helping parents feel confident.
Over 24 Years of Experience & Qualifications
Since beginning my newborn care career in November 2002, I have continued to invest in advanced education, professional certifications, and evidence-based training because caring for newborns means never stopping the pursuit of knowledge. Every family deserves support rooted in experience, compassion, and the most current best practices.
Today, with more than 125,000 hours of hands-on newborn care experience, I continue to combine practical expertise with ongoing education to help parents feel informed, supported, and confident from their baby's very first days.
Why I Started A Peace of Mind Baby
Throughout my years as a Newborn Care Specialist, parents consistently asked me the same questions.

After years of testing products in real homes with real families, I realized there was an opportunity to create something different.
